The International Horn Competition of America is committed to providing a fully professional and safe environment for all those associated with the organization in any capacity, particularly those participating in competition events. All IHCA activities and events will be free from harassment or judgment based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, or classified disability. Anyone associated with the IHCA who is in violation of this policy will be immediately dismissed from any further association with the IHCA. All members of the IHCA Board, along with all designated adjudicators undergo background checks to ensure the highest degree of integrity within the organization. The IHCA, in the appointment of officers, staff, and adjudicators seeks a balanced representation reflective of the modern international horn community. The same values are extended to the selection of repertoire to be included in competition events.

Furthermore, the IHCA will not tolerate individuals who retaliate against those who, in good faith, report violations of this policy or participate in investigations related to such policy violations.

The IHCA looks forward to its continued service to the greater international horn community for many years to come.
